Dominican Republic E-Ticket: Official Form and QR Code Guide

The Dominican Republic E-Ticket is a free government travel form. Dominican and foreign passengers entering or leaving on commercial flights must complete it. Use the official Dirección General de Migración portal, not a paid intermediary.

What to have ready

DGM lists your name, passport number, email, flight number, airline and accommodation address among the required details, together with applicable customs information. Keep your passport, flight confirmation and hotel or rental address beside you so you can copy them accurately.

When should you complete it?

The Ministry of Tourism says you can complete the form once you know your flight details; you do not have to wait for a 72-hour window. Finish before reaching the airline counter. Check both your arrival and departure information.

Families, children and QR codes

The official guidance allows one family form for up to seven people, including the person completing it, with one family QR code. Larger families need another form. Include children’s details; the customs section is for adults.

Save the confirmation and application code

You can print or screenshot the confirmation QR codes. A screenshot saved on your phone can be opened without internet; filling out or retrieving the online form needs a connection. Keep a backup and make sure the image is readable.

Correcting a mistake or losing the QR code

Use the application code issued when you started the form to retrieve it and correct details, as described in the official guidance. Save the resulting confirmation again. If you cannot retrieve your application, contact DGM through its official service page rather than paying a site claiming to unlock it.

Private flights, cruises and transit

MITUR lists private flights and several non-commercial sea arrivals among exceptions using physical forms. For an airside connection or unusual itinerary, confirm the applicable process with DGM and your airline. Do not assume this commercial-flight guide answers every transit situation.

The form is one part of your arrival planning

Check passport and visa eligibility separately with the official authorities. Copy names exactly, recheck travel dates after a flight change and keep your accommodation details available. Avoid sending passport details to an unrelated travel website.
